As a chiropractor, yoga instructor, and clinical Pilates instructor, Amanda uses her knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and physiology to teach group classes and privates that are functional, integrative, and challenging.
Amanda combines a number of different styles of yoga including Hatha Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Iyengar yoga to develop sequences that are programmed to improve mobility, address strength deficits, and assist recovery. Amanda is particularly passionate about working with active individuals who integrate yoga and Pilates into their cross training.
She is trained to work with injuries as well, helping people transition from rehabilitation to performance. Amanda feels that yoga and Pilates have the rare ability to inspire a sense of newness and self-discovery in the body and mind, whether you have been practicing for ten days or ten years.
Amanda enjoys swimming, resistance training, Pilates, and yoga for her own personal exercise routine, and tries to keep a healthy work-life balance!
